My name is Laura Medlicott. I’m a graphic designer and illustrator, currently working as a Senior Designer in branding and packaging at Sunhouse Creative.
I graduated with a first class degree in Graphic Communications from Bath Spa University in 2019. After some time as a freelance illustrator, and completing the Werkhouse studio experience, I started my job at Sunhouse Creative.
My approach to design is strategy first: all design needs a solid foundation of thinking before getting into visuals. I love telling a brand’s story, as well as making it look great.

In my free time I'm passionate about history, languages, and the natural world. I’ve never met a fun fact I didn’t like. I’ve completed a handful of part time courses in Archaeology, and I have a blog dedicated to my interest in Greek history. I also like thrash metal, motorsport, and lichen-spotting.
